Scheduled Outage for Mojave Wifi, Monday 03/25/2019

Please be advised that there is an upcoming maintenance power outage scheduled to begin on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 8:15am. until 1:15pm. If you would like to check if your area will be affected the outage number provided to us is 952835.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A MOJAVEWIFI.COM MANAGED OUTAGE. Southern California Edison has notified us of this outage that might affect the areas of N & S Joshua Tree and Monument Manor, Yucca Valley, Yucca Mesa, Flamingo Heights, Landers, Johnson Valley, Pioneertown and Rimrock. Not all customers may be affected by the power outages in these areas but our towers in those area WILL be affected which means internet service may be briefly interrupted during this time or you may experience sluggish speeds if the tower is running off of battery back up. Your home may NOT be directly affected by this power outage, but if we lose power at our tower, you will not have internet until power is restored.

Once service has been restored customers should be able to resume using their Internet. If you are not able to re-establish connection you may need to re-associate your home router with our network. Please proceed with the following steps:

1) Unplug the power line from the back of your router (ex: Belkin, Netgear, Cisco-Linksys, D-Link, Apple Airport, etc). Make sure it is the skinny cable and NOT the thicker Ethernet cable.

2) Leave unplugged for 1 minute.

3) Plug the power line back into your router and allow up to 1-minute for it to associate with our network.

4) Check your device for a connection (ex: laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.).

5) If you still do not have a connection, restart your device. Sometimes you need to re-associate your device with your router after a reboot/restart.

6) If there is still no connection, please call our Service Department at 760-366-7515. They are available to assist you Monday – Saturday, 9am – 4pm. If you get the voice mail please be sure to leave us a message, and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
