If allegations (inserted) are true, his downfall was a well deserved knockdown punch

Matt-LauerNobody saw this coming. We all woke up to the sudden firing of the co-host of NBC’s “Today” show, Matt Lauer.

If the allegations are true — evidence presented by the prestigious entertainment and political news outlet VARIETY are convincing and shocking — Lauer kissed his coveted $25 million salary bye-bye to feed his predilection following his penis around the work place and beyond.

The appalling allegations made in Variety are dark. No reasonable and prudent self-respecting male would ever do what Lauer’s numerous accusers describe — such as exposing himself.

Media news is short on the allegations, but for Variety. So what are the allegations?

—  Lauer once gave a colleague a sex toy as a present. It included an explicit note about how he wanted to use it on her, which left her mortified.

—  On another day, he summoned a different female employee to his office, and then dropped his pants, showing her his penis. After the employee declined to do anything, visibly shaken, he reprimanded her for not engaging in a sexual act.

— He would sometimes quiz female producers about who they’d slept with, offering to trade names. And he loved to engage in a crass quiz game with men and women in the office: “f—, marry, or kill,” in which he would identify the female co-hosts that he’d most like to sleep with.

—   Lauer was fixated on women, especially their bodies and looks, according to more than 10 accounts from current and former employees. [Lauer is married]

—   known for making lewd comments verbally or over text messages.

—  work and sex were intertwined.

—   His office was in a secluded space, and he had a button under his desk that allowed him to lock his door from the inside without getting up. This afforded him the assurance of privacy “if he got lucky.”

—  sexual harassment extended to when Lauer traveled on assignment.

Is there any question why some women call men pigs?  Matt Lauer’s net worth estimation of $60 million.  Who wouldn’t want to retiring on Lauer’s millions. Much more information and specifics found in Variety.

Oh, how the mighty heroes have fallen! Stripped of their weapons, they lie dead. —2 Samuel 1:27 New Living Translation.

Let this be a lesson to the left, that what you sow is what you reap.

The gaul of this guy putting Bill O’Reilly on the Spit of Public Opinion or grilling the Donald over privates comments.

It seems like this stuff was collected as kind of a massive retaliation for a one sided attack on the political right. Its coming full circle.

    Who is next?????

Not about the political right, or the left Dan: This is about the culture of a few males in high positions that have become so arrogant and elitist they think they can treat women like tramps and sex objects. Both dem and rep have been have been knocked off their coveted pedestal for indecent behavior.

Hm Branson, you seemed to be on the bandwagon against the Catholics when it came to their sexual abuse problems. Denying that almost all of the perps have been democrats would be problematic for anyone but a schizophrenic.
