There is no “wrong or “right” side Larry. Citizens vote and look at issues the way they want and follow their conscience.

As an investor in the the PP bond debt without a citizen vote, not a peep from you concerning the uni-American council voting habits since you and others were unjustly enriched. You were on the wrong side for being mum.

What I’m saying is that the citizens who voted didn’t follow CT directions to vote against the 2 proposals. They passed them with a massive yes vote. The voters in Yucca didn’t follow your directive.

Larry, From a Basin Resident viewpoint we are now going to pay a 1% additional Sales Tax that will do nothing for the Basin itself. I know from your Liberal viewpoint that is a good idea, but from my patriotic and Constitutional viewpoint it is “Taxation without Representation.”

Maybe you think it is fine to pay for Yucca Valley’s folly but I pay enough taxes and have no desire to pay more.

I did not know that Cactus Thorns was some sort of Bellwether. CT is an opinion site that sometimes wins and sometimes it does not.

We the people elect the representatives who legislate taxes. That is called “Taxation WITH representation”. CT has a recent history of losing more than winning. And your lap dog’s vicious language does nothing to increase your civility or effectiveness. It appears to cause people to ignore your recommendations. The YV tax is one example. Councilman Klink’s reelection is another. And newly elected Councilman Bilderain’s comments in the Trail today indicate that he is ready to move ahead with Project Phoenix. CT is not an alternative medium. It’s a platform for 3 out of step angry old men.

Angry at the what soon will be the waste of 33 million. I am not angry just dissapointed at three good men who did nothing so far.

I will od course not be angry when those low income housing units are built and that new Theatte 29 oops community center is built

Amybody see that happening soon? Give me a completion date Larry we all want to know.

If your blue Governor hadn’t “stolen” the millions from everyone’s RDA’s for his train to nowhere we wouldn’t be in this situation. What DO you think of all the billions spent on a train to nowhere?

Yes, Larry, there is a right to VOTE IN THE CONSTITUTION. Yucca Valley’s council put new taxes to a vote. A subversive 29 Palms council intentionally prevents citizens from voting on new taxes, property assessments and fees. They insult the intelligence of citizens.

In fact, four separate Amendments – the 15th, 19th, 24th, and 26th – even use the same powerful language to protect it. http://theusconstitution.org/text-history/1621/yes-there-right-vote-constitution

I wish you would better articulate yourself while attempting to defend those three councilmembers. It always ends up being about the messenger, never about issues. I standby every issue I post about these three men.

They railroaded Councilmember Cora; they didn’t want a more intelligent and better educated woman as mayor or mayor pro tem, then they smirked about it. Check out the video. I was there. Defend that!

Can you give a better argument/discussion why it’s okay to raise taxes ($33 million, and other new fees, assessments) without citizens voting? Those guys are too militaristic in their decision-making. Ironically, none of the three were in the service.

Who has been doing the complaining these past 5-6 years? It’s been Dan, Steve and Benji. Day in and day out, complaining. And the voters reject your advise every time. It’s time for you bozo’s to realize that you are “sound and fury, signifying nothing”.

Larry. Please tell me what these three dudes have done? At least me and Benton put together a trash contract that saves citizens money. Back then Freshour, Benton, Bagley, and me made a difference because we did things.

Tell me what Klink, Cole and Mintz have actually done to help the most instead of helping the few?

You can’t. So do not call me a complainer. I am a builder and your buddies are not.

At least in my humble opinion.
