Local Dawn Rove among five to be considered for appointment to County Supervisor; Jim Bagley not among the five hopefuls
http://new.vote29.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/news.pngLocal Yucca Valley resident Dawn Rove among five applicants to be considered for appointment to the District 3 seat; local Twentynine Palms resident and former 29 Palms City Councilmember Jim Bagley didn’t survive the cut from 48 to five applicants.
The Board will reconvene on Thursday for a vote.
Opinion has it that local Twentynine Palms royalty, Jim Bagley, didn’t make the cut because the 29 palms has a proclamation that it is not a sanctuary city. That is to say, the city only welcomes legal residents, visitors with birth certificates, current passports holders, or people with in date visas. Many will disagree… it is just an opinion that 29 Palms has an invisible Scarlet Letter hanging at the city’s boundary lines. And a darn good opinion at that.
