On September 13th, 2016, at about 9:05 AM, officers from the Rancho Mirage Police Department responded to an in progress residential burglary in the 71000 block of Gardess Road in the city of Rancho Mirage. The Palm Desert Station Burglary Supression Unit quickly arrived and assumed the investigation. During the investigation a suspect was quickly identified as being involved in the burglary.
On September 13th, 2016, at about 6:05 PM, 20-year-old, Bermuda Dunes resident, Christian Howe was located and arrested in the area of 42nd Avenue and Yucca Street, in the unincorporated community of Bermuda Dunes. Howe was arrested and booked into the Riverside County jail, located in the city of Indio for residential burglary and being in possession of a loaded concealed firearm.
